LA FORCE DE GENDARMERIE MOBILE ET D'INTERVENTION ex Légion de Gendarmerie Mobile d'Ile de France.
Composé de 3 groupements mobile à 19 escadrons et un groupement blindé de Gm soit les II , III et GBGM et 2 groupements dédiés les IV et Véme
ZONE DE DEFENSE SUD OUEST
Composé des 4 groupements de l'ex 2éme LGM
ZONE DE DEFENSE OUEST
Composé des 4 groupements de l'ex 3éme LGM
ZONE DE DEFENSE SUD EST
Composé des 3 groupements de l'ex 5éme LGM
ZONE DE DEFENSE SUD
Composé des 2 groupements de l'ex 6éme LGM
ZONE DE DEFENSE EST
Composé des 3 groupements de l'ex 7éme LGM et des 2 groupements de l'ex 8éme LGM
ZONE DE DEFENSE NORD
Composé des 2 groupements de l'ex 9éme LGM
Les Groupements de Gm et les escadrons n'ont pas changé de numérotation, ils ont juste perdu la mention "X LGM" sur l'écusson de bras, la pucelle et sur le revers du fanion réglementaire.
Une annotation permet de connaitre les escadrons dissout depuis 2005
